Acute pain is often a useful messenger and may remain, living completely without pain is not the goal. But we should not accept that persistent, often useless, pain. Don't switch too quickly to "just learn to live with it".

Convulsive fighting doesn't yield much either, of course. Learn to relax, learn to soften. A coursemindful meditationcould very well help with this.

But always keep your eyes open, and occasionally look for new treatment options. We know and can do so much more now than 5 years ago. Who knows where we will be in 5 years.......
